Both teams had a lot of possession in the first half. Miami had a couple opportunities to score and slightly controlled the game. In the second half the Bearcats took the initiative and had more chances than Miami. The Bearcats strung more passes together and tired Miami as the half went along. There were two red cards handed out in a physical game. A small squabble broke out in the second half when Jimmy Rosen was elbowed in the face. The Bearcats had several dangerous opportunities in the final 10 minutes of the game. The best chance came when Wes Rasdorf hit the post on a breakaway with the keeper. UC is still in the running for a place in Regional Finals but now faces two must win games to close out the season.
